Hotel Guest Reviews of the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Great location in Wailea, although you will have to walk to the beach in front of the Grand Wailea. Good restaurants on site, although if they have any special events you will not get in unless you are local.
First room they gave us had a view of the loading dock with trucks arriving at 7 am. Second room had mold on the walls in the bathroom. Also had to wait all day to get second room past the time they said it would be ready.

Location.
Took over half an hour to check out because two couples were checking in at the same time. Resort fee and parking was an additional $ 55 per day above the room rate.

pool overlooking the beach was the best.
my reservation was messed up. I booked a beach view room and got an garden view. I had to call the customer service and then stay on the phone for one hour to get the right room. it was a bad way to start he vacation.other than that.everything was good

You were literally steps away from the ocean
For as nice of a resort that it was some of the things in the rooms could use some upgrading...

Beautiful, clean friendly staff

Incredible views and infinity pool!
Did not have it's own beach access in front, walking required.

Located in great location near shopping, dining, beaches.

Great views of the coastline with pretty trees. The infinity swimming pool was nice. Walking distance to the shops and fancier hotels. Wailea Beach was clean and the fine grain sand felt good. Cheapest hotel for this area.
It was a maze to get to our room in Hale 7 and the signage was little help. They charge $20 a day for enhanced internet. A few bugs in the room, dirty headboard, and rattling A/C which they fixed after 2nd try. Does not feel like a 4 star hotel.

We came from the Hyatt Regency on the west side which is a 4 star hotel too and the rooms were cheaper, cleaner, and had more amenities. This hotel failed in comparison. I would rate this hotel as 3 stars or 3.5 at the most. This hotel is the cheapest compared to the surrounding hotels. The Hyatt spoiled us and my expectations were too high.
