Hotel Guest Reviews of the W Hotel Boston

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The location is centrally located. The subway and the Boston Common is one block away.

The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

very attractive, excellent location
Crowded and noisy lobby on a Saturday night; staff person who handled return of a charger cord left in room was slow to respond, got names and addresses wrong. Took a week to get it back.

This hotel is super attractive, very with it. Clean, handsome decor, very well located in the theater district and near Chinatown. Staff was uneven -- varied from excellent to clueless. Be prepared to pay extra for valet parking.

Concierge was extremely helpful.
The location is on the edge of some very nice areas, but also some not so great areas where we didn't feel safe.

Location, room and lobby decor and cleanliness, and very helpful staff.
$15/night extra charge for wifi is outrageous and disappointing considering the already high room price. For a hotel that pushes a hip, luxury motif, this should absolutely be included, and felt like an ugly cash grab.

Hotel is very new and clean, and the staff was very helpful, including free car service (if you booked early and didn't mind the sales pitch from Lexus or Infiniti or whatever the brand was). Room was nicely decorated and very clean, although the washroom set up was not a good one, as the toilet was located in a separate room, without a fan. Soundproofing was also very minimal, and we could easily hear our neighbours. Main complaint was the very high &15/night wifi charge. For a hotel, which necessarily caters to out of town guests who likely do not have free roaming in the city/country, this seems to be an obvious *included* service. Was very disappointed with this charge as the W is already a higher end hotel (especially the price point). ...read more

Rooms were small and the layout/architecture was weird. A blind separated the room from the bathroom. Very little privacy if you are sharing the room with someone else. You can easily hear everything going on outside...car horns, people talking etc.

Rooms are small and the layout/architecture was weird. A blind separated the room from the bathroom. Very little privacy if you are sharing the room with someone else. Service was fair. VERY EXPENSIVE drinks/room service. Small Bar/Dining area for the size of the hotel. Room windows do not block out sound, better take a sound machine.

Great location to Common, Theater, and Chinatown. The Staff was unbelievably kind. The lounge was hip and drinks tall and strongIt was an incredible bargain and I would stay there again
Little quirky "cheapness" noted in Ikea like rooms that seem thrown together. toilet was in a closet with no Fan. Rest of bathroom was cool until you realize you have no real privacy! A thrown together screen separates you from the bedroom. Door slides

Would recommend! Hip and modern. Great location at a great price!

Unbelievably comfortable mattress and luxurious sheets! Fantastic shower too! Loved the floor mats in the lobby and elevators that were changed throughout the day to "greet you" as they were written with the appropriate greetings "good morning" etc.

great location. easy to walk to many different attractions. Located steps away from fabulous restaurant "Rustic Kitchen" where the weekly cooking show is filmed on Friday nights. Would highly recommend this hotel to any group traveling to Boston. Great accommodations and wonderful amenities.
