Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hampton Inn Ft. Collins

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Staff very helpful
Probably received Phishing call at 11:50 pm. Notified staff then and again in morning. Some confusion in checking in because they had booking phone no rather than ours.

The beds were VERY comfy! I wanted to pack it up and take it with me! The breakfasts were also very good! I loved the variety of choices each separate morning. I love that the bathroom products are Nutrogena as well.
The pool was smaller than I was imagining. The bathroom didn't have a vent. The curtain rod was the kind that has the arc so it gives you more room in the shower, but whoever installed them installed them halfway into the tub, so you have even less room.

My family enjoyed the free breakfast, indoor swimming pool, and the free WiFi. They also enjoyed the free hot chocolate throughout the day - what a nice treat! With the exception of our room, the rest of the hotel appeared clean.
Although our bathroom smelled of bleach (clean) - the rest of the room was less than clean. Dental floss on the floor, chewed gum in ice bucket, used band aid under the drapes, and a sock (not ours) stuck between the mattress and the box spring. UGH!!

Staff members were borderline rude when I asked to change rooms and we were told they didn't have any available - when I showed them the confirmation for two queens/sofa sleeper they said that their hotel did not even have that particular room option. When we asked for a new ice bucket because of the gum, the staff member was sympathetic and she did talk to her manager as we noticed when our bill came and we saw that our nightly rate had been discounted. When we checked out, I took the "thank you" note from the housekeeper with my comments about the other "disgusting things" we found around the room to the front desk. Very calmly showed the front desk staff member the items and suggested that the hotel offer additional training for the housekeeper as she obviously was not performing her job duties adequately. I am aware that this issue is housekeeper specific as the rest of the hotel areas appeared clean. As we had been told earlier that there were no other rooms available, we "cleaned" the room ourselves. ...read more

Location. Complimentary breakfast was satisfactory.
Television didn't work. Free WiFi connection impossible---clearly they could not meet the capacity of guests. Elevator was not working. What's to like?

Breakfast and leaving
Service that the Staff did not provide for us and accomadations we were stuck with. Being called a liar by the staff and the A.M. not returning any calls or making an attempt to get ahold of us. Staff covering up their mistakes made.

Hotel was fine. Had problems with the toilet running all night only to have maint.man come and be able to fix it and no one would move us to another room. The A.M. refused to acknowlege us. Then on day 2 the TV went black and had no idea what channel you were watching. NO ONE SEEMED TO CARE.

Got stuck on the elevator but the staff was very nice. They even said our rooms would be reimbursed for the inconvenience.
