Hotel Guest Reviews of the University Plaza Waterfront Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The room was clean and comfortable
When you check in the driveway to the hotel was full of cars that they leave parked there all night so difficult to check in. Also there is a 20 dollar resort fee that’s a ripoff Stockton hotels should not have a resort fee

I can't wait to go back! This hotel is AMAZING, great views, great food, staff is so nice!
The only thing that was irritating was that we couldn't rent any movies because the system was down.

Getting a free upgrade is always nice - the restaurant food was great - preferred the al a carte to the buffet. Service generally was polite but nothing out of the ordinary.
I was in the presidential suite - not sure of other rooms but the carpets were really dirty and stained. Verticals in the doorways were broken and really cheap and nasty and let in light at night. The resort fee is silly and should be dropped.

The staff was incredibly accommodating and courteous. The hotel was beautiful with a great view. I felt like I was on a mini vacation even though i only stayed one night.

Very nice set up. Fast check in. Bar and restaurant good with quick friendly staff. Nice pool area, rec area on the river. Large room very clean.
The area around the hotel was a little questionable. The property itself is ok and next to the arena but outside the hotel grounds like most cities a lot of homeless and panhandling. The security is good but I wouldn't stray to far.
