Hotel Guest Reviews of the Eureka Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Very historic; good staff
No occlusion curtains in room; dirty, worn carpet; building upkeep poor (broken elevator/repair delays); poor parking lot lighting

There should be a separate rating system for hotels that qualify as GEMS. The Eureka Inn was most definitely a GEM! It is historic and stays authentic to the period in decor and charm. There was an old fashioned saloon with really great music. 4 GEMS

We not going back to this hotel and we not recommend to anybody .
We reserved 2 Quoin bed but they gave us 2 double bed(full size) then we end up to pay $40 more to get bigger beds. The water in the shower DOSEN't flowe at 9:00pm we call them ,but they said its late for repair and they didn't offer us different room.

Very nostalgic, lots of history in the hotel. It was very nice.
The room was a bit small, but nicely done.

The bed was great, room size was decent. The vintage sTyler was nice.
The bathroom walls around the door frame and door should get wiped down.

lots of character, room was nice; good location for our purposes; old grande hotel that is slowly being renovated
pool is not heated; breakfast offering was minimal (a lot of things were already gone by the time we got to breakfast); limited staff; thin walls (heard things I'd prefer not to hear)

The room was quite acceptable, and the outside appearance was nice - it's an historic, old Hotel. This Hotel used to be the "Crem-de-la-crem" of Eureka, but now it's mediocre at best. It's sad to see such a fine, historic Hotel, go into such bad disrepair
The "Charm" of an old, historic Hotel was totally gone - The ambiance was also gone - It had cigarette butts scattered all over outside, because there were no receptacles for their disposal. Several areas were outright dirty, due to lack of attention.

zero security in a sketchy part of town; and it feels outdated

We received call of family emergency. So we only stayed 1 night. But paid for 3, as we were celebrating our anniversary. So very disappointing, plus very expensive to pay for 3 nights & only stayed in night.
See above. Very sad trip & expensive. Due to time & gas. But family emergency trumps all.
