Needs alot of upgrades, no hot water or water pressure, we stayed there three weeks prior and there was no heat

It was clean and quiet
There was no way to turn off the heat in my room. It was over 90 degrees when I got there. I called the front desk and they said they didnt have any maintenance on staff, but sent up security with a fan.

This hotel is located across the street from New Center Eatery, which serves chicken & waffles. The view from the 3rd floor is nice, but not spectacular.
Location is not downtown Detroit. Rooms are outdated. Slow drain on shower 1st morning. No hot water 2nd morning. Thermostat is inconsistent. Walls are thin. Valet unorganized and understaffed during peak hours. Lobby restrooms need more light.

Friendly staff and the history of the building.
No heat in our small room. No fridge. Beds were uncomfortable. Proximity to downtown attractions wasn't great compared to other hotels. No views.
