Hotel Guest Reviews of the Drift Lodge

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The owners of the hotel, the couple, are very unfiendly.

It was true that we booked a room for two and we three people showed up because we didn't notice "two maximum people" when booking. We apologized again and again and were willing to pay more if they could accommodate my family. But both the couple were very aggressive and threatened to call the police. They even didn't allow our car to be parked on their property when we said my husband would stay in the car for the night with our own blanket as he cannot speak English. We had no choice but to accept his offer of another place that cost us a fortune. We were very disappointed and felt unlucky to meet such a couple. We had no choice but to give up our booking in Drift Lodge for the next night. ...read more

For 3 night stay-room was comfortable.Mattress were very good!! It was all homely atmosphere with Micro and Fridge.
Since it was cabin type lodge-had issues with light.Guess owner used to switch off path light in night.Since we used to come back late-we had problems to reach our cabin. No Wi-fi in Cabin B.Hubby had problem staying connected with work/office.No Iron too!

Overall the stay was OK. Owners were very friendly. They tried helping us with the Wi-Fi problem but that was not resolved at all.Though hubby was on vacation but suddenly he was to send some urgent mail and he could not do that.We selected this lodge by making sure that Wi-Fi is there but then this was the problem. Next - we used to come late from the park and it was difficult for us to reach to our cabin which was at the back of Cabin A. The path light were put off in the night and in case we needed something from our car (parked in front of Cabin A) we carried flash lights :( It is good for those who really want to cut off from everyone and want to enjoy their own time but ppl who want to stay connected-make sure you do not get any cabins far from the owners own house so that you can have working Wi-Fi. No Staff to assist you. Since owned by couple NO room service!! GPS does not take you to exact location. DO keep an eye to the BOARD of Drift Lodge. ...read more

Proximity to Yellowstone
Linens seemed clean. Pillows not. Animals allowed in rooms. Not all people have the same standards for their pet's health & grooming. This is a health risk for patrons. No air cond. nor cross window ventilation. Room very warm. Lighting to room poor.

Would never consider pay full room price. Will not return. Chalets were advertised 2 bedrooms. Ours was not. TVs difficult to operate and no inroom instructions for their use. Not up to our previous Priceline rooms.
