Hotel Guest Reviews of the Villas Arqueologicas Chichen Itza

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

location, only 5 minute walk from Chichen. The room itself was ok. Nothing special but it really was pretty clean.
The food was extremely overpriced for the quality, amount and taste. They charged double the price for a Coke as I would've paid in the US. Even getting a glass of ice was a hassle. They had to ok it with management and it was half melted when I got it.

Nice collection of artifacts throughout the hotel.Close to Chichen Itza.
This was the last hotel we stayed in during our 2000 km drive to Palenque and back to Cancun. It was the only hotel during our trip in which the hotel front desk staff was so unfriendly. Poor restaurant service, pool closed at 7pm,room extremely small.

No wi-fi anywhere. Mosquitos everywhere, including the rooms. Staff could care less. Rooms very small and extremely spartan.

Our stay in this hotel was very unpleasant. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and with no tv or wi-fi anywhere or anything at all to do at night, except battle mosquitos, it was a very long 4 day stay. The rooms were tiny and very dark and felt more like a dungeon cell. The beds were very small and had broken springs in the so-called mattresses. The food at the hotel was bad and way overpriced. In fact, the hotel itself was way overpriced. A very bad value for the money. We would never stay here again and warn others to avoid this hotel! It would be much, much better to rent a hotel room in Piste and take a short taxi ride to the back gate of the park at 8:00 AM. We only wish someone had given us that advise beforehand because the park is wonderful but that hotel was just awful. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL1!!! ...read more
