Hotel Guest Reviews of the Albani Hotel Roma

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Our room was available to us upon arrival. We arrived in an overnight flight and they had our room ready. Staff were awesome. The room had a private balcony which overlooked the park
There was nothing I didn't like that was within their control

Up to date rooms. 1 Block to bus stop, so location was not a big deal. QUIET, for being in a big city, this hotel was very quiet. Breakfast was above expectations, very good.
Nope, would stay at this hotel again.

There was a buffet breakfast at an additional charge of 10 Euros per person, and as there was no coffee in the room or nearby we took advantage of the buffet and felt it was reasonably priced - but not included in our priceline rate.
There was no coffee available in the room and no ability to make your own. The room was noisy - you could here the guy upstairs and the maids in the hall and the location was slightly off the beaten path - so we had to take cabs or buses.

The hotel was clean, the room had a mini bar fridge but no ability to make coffee and we could not find a coffee shop close by so had to purchase the buffet breakfast for 10 Euros each. The buffet was good for the price and provided coffee and juice as well as bacon and scrambled eggs with pastries etc. The room was comfortable but not well insulated thus you could hear the person above you and anyone in the halls. ...read more

The hotel was clean and semi-modern. Wifi worked, free breakfast, and helpful staff.
The location was a bit far from the center of the city but I had been to rome previously and was not afraid of public transport (taxis are expensive). Just be aware that buses stop running early!

Hotel was way better than my first Roman hotel a year ago. Modern and clean and very helpful staff. It is a bit outside the city but cheap taxi to/from termini station (about 9 euro) and easy walk to public buses makes it an easy trek to the city center. Safe area and would stay here again.

This hotel has great potential...but needs to correct serious deficits. The building is newly renovated and quite attractive. The rooms are spacious (we had a junior suite), the workout room was excellent, the bar and lobby area were very good.
The food was truly awful. In some cases we ordered something and just didn't eat it. The staff was very helpful if you pressed them. They just need to improve their service attitude.

The location and building were great. The food should be avoided. Staff need to be better trained to help tourists explore and enjoy the nearby attractions of which there are many. Once you got staff involved in your issue, they were great problem-solvers.

Clean, spacious room, good staff.
Little too far from public transportation.

Great value for a fine hotel, large room for a European hotel.

Good room (others in our party had excellent rooms), great internet access.
Location not really close to sights.

Good experience, staff was great.

Exceptional modern architecture throughout. Ample staff at all times.

This isn't for someone only looking for the classing old Roman look. The architect deserves kudos, as every detail of the hotel -- from the glass-surrounded chandelier which extends below ground into the breakfast room, to fine-polished walnut details throughout, to ample stainless steel counter tops for suitcases and ail -- is well thought out and done with style. Staff is excellent, 24 hours a day; friendly and knowledgeable. ...read more
