Hotel Guest Reviews of the Residence Inn Binghamton

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

How it has a kitchen with all the appliances and how it felt more like a "residence" instead of a room. Great amenities as well as a staff. They so had a vatiety of breakfast items that were fresh and yummy. Would definitely come back and recommend it.
The pool was closed :-( other than that everything was great!

Very clean, extremely roomy and spacious. Fabulous location central and close to shops, University, etc. Huge breakfast buffet and overall very convenient, well-priced hotel.
I only wish I would have gotten the room with a fireplace since it was snowing. Other than that, the room I did get was super spacious, huge full size kitchen, just nothing to complain about. The bed was very comfortable as well.

Rooms were clean and neat. Housekeeping was thorough.
Pets, pets and more pets. Barking dogs all the day. Guests leave their pets in the room and they bark all day long. The first floor room are subject to noise from the second floor guest. There is NO sound deadening between floors. I had to move.

The entrance road is terrible. Pavement is long worn out. Pot holes (large pot holes) make entering and exiting a challenge.

Location, adjacent to Binghamton University.
After one shower, there was no hot water! There was a note to the fact that there was an individual hot water heater, but it should have been much more explicit in stating that there was only enough water in the morning for one shower!

The suites are lovely, and the beds very comfortable. TVs in every room. This is a residence inn with kitchens. There was a mold smell in the kitchen, perhaps the problem with the hot water heater is the source.

The room was very spacious and clean and for being on a ground floor I did not hear anything from above me
I did not appreciate that there was little note cards all over the room that are easy to look past. Would be better if there was one big note on the table

The rooms are big, though they don't seem quite as big as ones at other Residence Inn hotels. The breakfast was also pretty nice.
It was hard to find, tucked off of a small road. Also, it just seems over-priced, there are hotels of similar quality that offer better rates in Binghamton.

Bottom Line is that this hotel seems a touch below what you'd expect from an average Residence Inn hotel. If you can get a good rate, it's still nice hotel but don't pay top dollar to stay here, it isn't worth it.

Great breakfast. Good accommodation for families.
Floors squeaked. Suspect flawed construction. Neighbor below complained.

Suite was clean and well stocked. Breakfast was fantastic. Staff was helpful. Location suited our purpose. There may be construction flaws as floors squeaked and did not feel solid, particularly in the upstairs bathroom.

The staff was very helpful. When we realized at 11 o'clock at night that the air conditioning wasn't working we called the front desk. Someone was at our door within minutes to fix the problem.

Not a lot to do in the area. Very close to Binghamton university. Binghampton zoo is very cute, especially for little kids. Tully s restaurant in shopping center next door was great.
