Hotel Guest Reviews of the Villa Del Palmar Puerto Vallarta

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Not much.
Yes. The staff was not very helpful and constantly messed up our rooms. The views are not great, the food was also mediocre. My entire trip was a disaster at this hotel.

The hotel & surroundings were outstanding...lots of activities, food was outstanding as well and the selection of the restaurants. The Staff couldn't have been friendlier. We especially liked the location as it was close to Melechon.
Our room certainly looked "old" and needed some updating. The fridge didn't work. The AC ran 24/7 the entire week we were there. The room had an odor plus was extremely humid-even our papers were damp. But, we had a great view from our balcony.

The hotel is is located in the heart of the puerto vallarta City area. The staff is very nice.
The hotel does not have free Wi-fi and they charge you $16 per person for breakfast it's outrageous

The hotel and grounds are so clean. Staff are ever friendly and welcoming.
There isn't anything we did not love.

We come twice a year. The super friendly staff all say "Welcome Home" to us. Check is a breeze. Our room is immaculately clean as are the grounds and pool. It is Mexican festive in decor and with the music they play. We love the quiet pool, slightly heated and comfortable feeling. October and March are perfect months to come enjoy the heat and sun.

warm water in pool and lots of comfy poolside chairs. Good pool towels
very little food for vegetarians, not enough hot water, and pool slide not totally safe

The pool was well kept up.
The hotel room noise was high due to traffic noise.

I was given no choice in rooms other than rooms facing busy road with high noise level and air pollution. Design of plumbing system made for a lot of noise in bath and through duct system. Could hear toilets flushing above and from 5 am on constant noise in pipes from outdoor watering system. I didn't eat any meals at the hotel as they were quite expensive. They do nickel and dime you for everything. If you need to use Internet, need groceries, etc. go across the street to shopping center. Also, I couldn't recommend PV unless you want to loaf by the pool or the beach with crowds of other folks from the US and Canada. ...read more
