Great breakfast buffet
No ice or vending machines. Granted there was a heatwave at the time, but air conditioning in the room did not cool sufficiently for sleeping comfortably

The staff was very polite and helpful
As I entered the hotel, I was confronted with a notice advising that there would be a £5 per night parking fee. I was then told that I had to give my credit card (although) I had paid the charge in full since the hotel required a charge of £30

I was amazed at the charge for parking and the £30 per night advance payment. I have stayed in many hotels in many different parts of the world and this is the 1st hotel that I had to pay a parking fee. As for the advance holding deposit (by Credit Card) of £30 per night, I found this incredible. They demand this deposit just in case I incur any expenses. Again, This is my 1st experience of such a deposit. And I had no choice, I had to pay it or lose my booking. I fact, my experience in other hotels has been that I am given help to find a parking palace and it is free. And that and charges incurred during my stay are added to my account which I settle when I check out. My overall experience with this hotel was very negative. I would certaily not seek to stay in it EVER AGAIN. more

Location was close to shopping area.
Quite typical of hotels in the UK, rooms are small, elevators are way too small.

Location was good, breakfast had some variety, room was well kept.

Hotel was near tube station with shuttle service.
When we called the number to contact the shuttle service nobody answered. Staff were fairly rude.

Hotel was ok if u don't plan to spend much time in it. Staff were rude.
