Landscaping is great, pool area is nice. Rooms are just awful and completely outdated. Ownership has spent no money updating this hotel. I guess you get what you pay for room-wise. We still really enjoyed our trip. Staff was very nice and did well with what they had to work with. There was a dead roach in our "kitchen" cabinet with a can of Raid sitting next to it. Almost all of the metal was rusty. The pool area was nice and relaxing but the staff was not staying on top of keeping the bugs out of the water. There is evidence of what once seemed to be a pool bar/restaurant area but it is not in operation any more. The upside is that the room made us spend a lot of time out on the island. The downside is that you will sleep Ned Flanders style with your significant other since there are only twin beds. ...

Considering the cost of everything in Bermuda, it is a good location if you're not expecting a resort style hotel, and just want a place to sleep in between sightseeing. It is a plus that it has its own little kitchen since the food in Bermuda is nothing special and very overpriced. I loved cooking in our room and then eating outside our balcony looking at the ocean. The staff is very laxed and not super helpful, but I think it may be a cultural difference. The railway trail is 3-4 blocks from the hotel and also a great place to go for a run or a bike ride. The hotel is a block away from a gas station where you can buy basic groceries if needed. The Wifi is only available in the main office, there is limited connection in the rooms. Overall, not a resort style choice - but affordable comparable to other places if you're ok with outdated furniture and appliances. Great location! ...
