Hotel Guest Reviews of the Days Inn Lost Hills

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Easy to find. Close to Universal Studios. Staff very helpful.
The room was very dirty. Food particles under the fridge, filthy baseboards all around, greasy phone with ear wax all over ear piece, smashed bug on ceiling of bathroom, spiderwebs in corners of room. We went through the whole place with alcohol cleaner.

There were bugs in the room I was told about the crickets but not the other bugs. Room needed some repairs done. The outside of the hotel needed work also.

Location for what I needed.
The Hot water was unstable. Tried to adjust but couldn't. One second it's scolding hot the next it's cold. Had to rush shower cause I didn't want to etc burned nor I wanted to freeze.

Wifi worked
Insects. Insects on the floor. One between the pillows. I killed 8, then got tired and just went to bed. This is an old, truck stop hotel. Set your expectations....

Location was right where we needed. The breakfast had hot waffles which was nice and there was free wifi.
The room was pretty run down but not out of the range we expected. The pool looked much bigger in the picture and was dirty due to the dust bowl, but we could still swim. Large flying cockroach or beetle and babies in the bathroom.

It was located just where I needed to be.
Carpet in room was rumpled and had lumps under it.

This hotel is very handy to I5 about 3 hours from Los Angeles. It was clean and quite sufficient for my needs. I don't need to pay---for one night to have fancy surroundings.
