Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Inn of Chicago

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location to magnificent mile.
Small elevators. Thin walls. I heard voices in hallway and heard each guest open and slam their doors. Room was dated and needed a thorough cleaning and upgrade. Bathroom was Tiny.

Lobby was nice. Amazing location. Steps from Magnificent Mile (tons of shopping and restaurants). The bellboys & house cleaners were great. The rooftop deck had great views with lots of seating. Our room was very clean. Visit the coffee shop next door!
Hotel going through renovations & unfortunately we didn't get a newer room. Only a few floors have been done. The carpets in the hallways were puckered up and the bathroom needed a lot of TLC; the toilet ran 45 minutes after flushing(they did repair it).

Location - excellent! - right downtown, but 'off' a main street like Michigan, Dearborn, etc. Also, near Mag Mile so close to shopping & near south/north dining. Having valet parking was also a plus, though access to public trans was close.
Bathroom tub & possibly bthrm floor per GF had stains!?! Elevators are small & quickly packed!

Location and access to transport/attractions/restaurants
Not clean: Bathroom area & bedroom had residues from previous occupancy. Not a great view from rooftop lounge - Only surrounded by high-rise buildings. No microwave & Poor selection of coffee and no tea packets. Poor lighting. Not bright enough...

The staff was great. The lobby is chic, but the music is too loud, and they use really strong (beyond normal) air freshener. Complimentary water cups in the lobby. No coffee or breakfast (not that I would eat anything that came out of this dump).
This place is a dump. We were even given a free upgrade at check-in. I shudder to think what the regular rooms are like. Excessively stained carpet/window coverings didn't all raise/filthy ac unit/old water-stained furniture. Questionable clientele.

This hotel was DISGUSTING. Much more like a motel. I could not believe what you tried to pass off as a 3-star hotel.
EVERYTHING. It was old, it was gross.
