Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Red Lion Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

I liked the antiques located throughout the hotel. The quaintness of this old hotel is a real draw for me.
Sometimes there is no parking spots. One or two staff members could have had more patience with us as guests trying to find a seat to have dinner. Need more front desk help when it is busy.

Old historic inn loaded with antiques. Very nice choice of 3 restaurants, and the food was excellent. Fireplace and lots of chairs to sit in and relax. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.
My only complaint was that there was a chemical smell in the room that might have been a cleaning product or something like that that permeated the room- it was a bit annoying.

Location
Hotel felt old and dirty. Were the carpets cleaned since the hotel opened? The room was on Route 7, the main road. There were 18 wheelers going by all night. Could not sleep! No other rooms were available. Would like a refund!

Location, overall facility, historic character.
Unanticipated closing of pub for late night food. Could have used another venue in the facility to accommodate guests and others anticipating the 'later night' (10 to midnight) food offering.

Old fashioned charm. Great menu in restaurant and tavern. Nice selection of wines.
Room-to-room noise level.
