Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Peabody

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Atmosphere, location, quality
The check in service was messed up. They had our reservation number under a different name.

The Hotel is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The free coffee in the morning was also a very nice perk! We loved watching the ducks!
The indoor pool area should be brighter; it is very dark in there. Actually, the pool area should be renovated. It will be great if there was a bar with the pool.

Nice hotel in a nice location.
There is a long walk from self parking to the lobby. Also, you can't use the elevators when the duck parade is about to start.

Hotel Employee at check in were great and was more than happy to help make our stay fabulous. On the 12th floor we were greeted with smiles and wonderful ladies that could not do enough to make sure we were happy. Thx

Beautiful lobby, pleasent rooms, great location
Absurd that they charge an $11.95/day hotel fee. This should be illegal.

Buyer beware--you will be charged an $11.95 hotel fee on top of whatever rate you think you're going to pay.

Location
Valet service took 45 minutes at checkout. Room was very small, walls very thin. Half tv channels did not have sound. Stayed here several times before. Never been this disappointed.

The staff. Absolutely incredible staff! The location was perfect for enjoying great Memphis eats and night life and the hotel was clean, welcoming, organized and decorated wonderfully!
Nothing not to like, it was a great experience at a great hotel!

I didn't realize until staying at the Peabody that there was so much history in it. The presidents and celebrities that have stayed there, as well as the ducks that dwell in the lobby fountain, have history I would have never known.
