The staff are completely focused on service, and that's really missing in many places today.
At breakfast, they added $15 to the bill for no reason, other than to indicate it was some sort of surcharge. And it was already quite expensive.

Nothing to like.
Worst luxury hotel I have ever stayed at. Walls are paper-thin. Could hear every word spoken by neighbors. They charge you for early check-in and for internet. The closet is not big enough for a suit. The bathroom is the size of an airplane restroom.

The location is amazing - at the top of a hill, with panoramic views across the city and the Bay. Spotless room, and it had everything I needed. The only thing that wasn't perfect was a broken drawer on a credenza - at five stars, that shouldn't be.
The rate was very good - but internet wasn't free with the rate, and that is always annoying. And using the fitness center carries a fee - REALLY annoying. Also, being on top of a hill means if you go for a walk . . . you have to walk . . . back . . UP.
