Hotel Guest Reviews of the Stella Maris Bed And Breakfast

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The owners were very welcoming. I was a bit lost and they were extremely helpful. It felt like family!!!

Excellent place to stay. I have been to Rome several times. This was like going to visit someone who really cared for you to have a great experience. Highly recommend!!!

It was reasonably priced for being fairly near the Rome airport. The bus stopped very close by which was a big help as well as running early enough in the morning to catch my flight back to the US.
It was fairly noisy in the area in the evening. Also under flight path of planes. Constantly hearing the Jets taking of and landing. They did not use conventional sheets on the beds. One comforter with sheet around it. I was way too warm.

There was a decent room at a fair price. It was also available on short notice on a weekend. Easy enough to get to by bus. Staff was a big help with directions & spoke English. Wi-Fi and in room refrigerator.

We were pleasantly surprised by the large size of the room, the top rate cleanliness and chic decor in this pleasant B & B.
We loved the hotel but then the taxi brought us to the door, we didn't realize the B & B was located within a condominium. We had to go back twice to closely look at the mailbox listing which did in fact have the name of the B & B. I wish we had known.

The propriator was extremely nice and helful. She carefully instructed on how to buy bus/train/metro tickets so we investigated Rome with little difficulty and low cost. The bus actually stopped near the door. We sat on the balcony enjoying a bottle of wine purchased at the nearby grocery store one night. We enjoyed walking along the seashore and had a great meal on the beach at a nice restaurant. I would go back again and can highly receommend the Stella Maris. ...read more
