Welcome to the St. Regis Hotel Washington DC
High style meets high tech at the St. Regis. The sumptuous rooms have docks for your iPod, speedy Wi-Fi and two flat-panel TVs—including one hidden behind the mirror in your marble bathroom.
Looking spiffy after a head-to-toe renovation in 2008, the 182 rooms and suites of the St. Regis drip luxury. Glittering chandeliers and wide windows illuminate the rooms, where top-of-the-line beds are dressed in luxurious linens and down comforters. Antique-style wooden desks turn into private offices, thanks to Wi-Fi connections. Custom designed wall units hold such gadgetry as iPod docks and flat-panel TVs. There's another TV in each bathroom, invisible behind the mirror until you turn it on. Brass fittings, marble tiles and plush robes make you feel pampered. Service is the name of the game here, so of course personal butlers are on call any time of the day or night. They can help you with reservations at the on-site restaurant.
Two blocks north of the White House, the St. Regis has an unbeatable location. Just five miles away is Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, reachable by taxi in 15 minutes. Three stations of D.C.'s Metro system are within a few blocks. The National Geographic Society is a seven-minute walk, and the Renwick Gallery is a nine-minute walk. If you're headed to sights on the National Mall, including the Washington Monument, the walk will take about 20 minutes.
For location, few D.C. hotels rival the St. Regis. And as far as service and amenities go, it's in a class by itself.

My room was not ready at 3:00; complete towel sets weren't available and had to be requested during the entire stay. Bell hops were outstanding and were the reason my stay was not a total flop.

The St. Regis is a top tier hotel in Washington, DC. Great property, great location. Normally it is extremely pricey; Priceline got me a very good rate. If it could add transportation assistance to local destination (shuttle, hotel car, etc.) it would stand out among others in the city.

Beautiful hotel, great staff, and a good location. We did not eat at the restaurant, but did enjoy stopping in for a drink at the bar, which is a very nice spot.

Elegant and luxurious, but not pretentious. We'll be back.
