Hotel Guest Reviews of the Sleep Inn Brooklyn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The hotel was very clean and looked brand new. Had a big bed and a big tv, good tv channels, and nice bathroom.
Nothing was around except a McDonalds.

Great little place, bed and pillows were much more comfortable than other big name hotels I've stayed in past.
The free break was a huge disappointment, the waffles were never available during entire stay.

There was a nice breakfast every morning. The room was neat and clean, the location quiet. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, and there was an atm and free coffee along with televisions and USA Today in the lobby.
The cleaning staff seemed to spend a lot of time outside of my room in the hallway during the morning. They talked a lot.

The room and bed were comfortable and I had a good sleep.
1) the glass shower doors were not sealed so water leaked out all over the bathroom floor, 2) breakfast is only served until 9 and they stop refreshing the food a bit before that. When all the guests arrive just before 9, there is no hot food left.

Overall a good hotel, but a bit far from areas where you would actually want to be. A bit more attention to detail would greatly increase the quality of stay.

The place is clean and the staff is friendly.
The main entrance is at basement level without an elevator. You have to carry your luggage down 25 or so steps to enter the main lobby. There is a lift for handicapped but no elevator to go from street level to the main lobby. The rooms are really small.

Aside from the small size of the rooms and the inconvenience of the entrance from the street, overall it was a good choice.

It was brand new, so rooms were small but nice. The front desk personnel was very attentive and helpful.
The area is scary, don't walk by yourself! The fact that the hotel is so new means construction....at 9 o clock in the morning. The extra loud housekeeping staff also helped with the ongoing noise starting at 10.

Don't bring family here. Be prepared for a 10-15 wall to get to any subway station but the walk to the 9 av station might take you through the slums of Brooklyn.
