Hotel Guest Reviews of the Serrano Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Hotel was clean.
No coffee maker in the room, asked for one and it never showed up. Also, no microwave in the room. Additional $25.00 charge for, "amenities". When I asked what that meant I was told, "wifi (that I didn't use), and "coffee"(In the lobby,there's17 floors).

Clean room with vie
Small, even cramped room. Poor room layout with TV at a right angle to the bed, high up on a dresser, pointed at the foot of the bed. Felt like a cheap hotel trying to be a nice one.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Free wifi and coffee in the morning. The room was small, but nice and clean.
No hotel parking. Had to pay $39 a night to park next door. door

Great location; friendly staff, historic property
Daily Hotel Fee ($25 + Tax) is not disclosed at the check in and excessive; old property requiring major update; 2 of of 3 elevators working; extremely small rooms.Hotel is nowhere near 4 stars as it being presented

The hotel was easy to find. The lobby was very well decorative.
Staff can use a little cheering up. They seem annoyed that they are having to work. The bathroom in our room was very small. You had to pee in the toilet sideways. Or if you sat down on you had to lean to one side because it was up against the wall.

The lobby
The hotel is right by the tenderloin and there are many scary looking people around the hotel. Also the "resort" fee is a joke. $25 on top of what we already paid for coffee in the lobby is ridiculous.

The character of the hotel was nice.
Tiny room. The corner room I was promised didn't happen. The resort fee was a joke. The parking was a bigger joke.
