Hotel Guest Reviews of the Renaissance Brussels Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Quiet, easy access from the airport, and near the European Parliament. Great fitness center. Try to get a rate that includes breakfast, as the buffet is excellent with lots of American and continental options.
Internet use in the hotel is very expensive.

Everything was pleasant and as expected, no surprises for Marriott customers. The only downside is that internet is expensive, but a coffee show around the corner has free wifi for customers.

friendly and helpful staff
thin windows. lots of external noise. even on upper floor.

Nice place. Nothing fancy, but very convenient to E.U. parliament. Not 4 star, but not bad either.

Attentive service and spacious, comfortable room.
Rude breakfast waitress.

Reception was helpful and quick. I received a nice king room on an upper floor with views of the EU buildings. A comfortable chair with Ottoman is perfect for relaxing and the wood paneled entry is attractive. My only problem was forgetting my jacket upon departure! It was a very nice stay and I would return.

The rooms were well kept and the beds were comfortable.
The door to our room stuck and you had to throw your whole body into the door to get it open.

Within walking distance of the center. Nice facilities, rooms were spacious and comfortable. Minor updating needs to be done, such as the hardware in the bathtub and wood on the closets are a bit dated. The is a thermostat in the room which is more for amusement and does not actually do anything. The price for breakfast is outrageous, 17-25 Euros. The staff is very nice and everything is very clean and tidy. I spent a very comfortable three nights there. ...read more

The room was excellent and they sent up a bottle of red for my birthday. Very attentive staff.
Breakfast is terrible and not worth any money. Egg looked very bad, the fruit salad tasted overripe borderline spoiled. If you want to go for breakfast check out the restaurants around the Place de Luxembourg (3min walk).

I liked everything about this hotel, particularly the helpful friendly staff and wonderful service. Great location too.
Nothing.

Everything about this hotel was exemplary from the front door to check out. Rooms are very large - American style - well cared for and well stocked with towels, TV, AC etc all working well. Location is the best.Close to all transit including Central Station and all local buses stop at Hero Square a block from the hotel. Airport express is a block away as is the train station to Luxembourg. Brussels is better/nicer/ more reasonable than Paris. Hotel is near connection to Brugge, Antwerpen, and Gent, all worth seeing. The front desk and concierge will give you all the info you need to enjoy the city and the country and free Belgian chocolates at the desk as well! ...read more

Everything. This is one of the best staffs I have ever dealt with and the hotel is wonderfully located and operated.
Nothing- the hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed at and I have stayed at many!

This hotel has spectacular customer service from the front desk, to housekeeping to the restaurant. They treat every guest like family for real. It is in a fabulous location, next to the European Parliament so there are great restaurants, local stores and wonderful bus, train and airport connections. It is a few minutes from the Central Station where you can catch trains almost anywhere in Belgium. Once again it is the staff and location that make this hotel and the fact that the rooms are large and spacious-American-style- and the rates are very reasonable for the value provided. Alix and Joost are top of the line employees! ...read more

One of the most elegant, clean, pleasant 4 star hotels in Brussels.
Maybe a little bit on the outskirts from Grand Place, taking about 30-40 minutes by walk.

It is located in a bit of residential area, but still quite close to the city center. Safe, tranquil location, and above all the hotel is of superb quality, well deserving of 4 stars. If we get to choose a hotel, next time we stay in Brussels, this hotel will certainly be our preference. Thanks to Priceline.com.
