Hotel Guest Reviews of the Ramada Apollo Amsterdam Centre

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

They were so accommodating! I was cold and asked for extra blankets and every day they made my bed with the extra blankets. Hotel employee was so funny and kind. She helped me book my shuttle and helped me find tons of attractions.
There was food left in my mini fridge from the guests before me. It was gross and it stopped me from putting anything in my fridge.

They had bike rental, breakfast, complimentary lemon water! Room was just fine!
No trip tour booking--had to go to Town for a tour!

Front desk staff went over and above to make sure we were taken care of! Very friendly and helpful. Let us check in early.

Staff friendliness, near to tram station and safe.
Room was too small and very little space for closet. The shower cubicle needs a door - water flows out of cubicle during a shower. The mattress was awfully soft and well used. My wife and I had severe back pains.

I would recommend the hotel if they fix the issues mentioned above.

Near downtown; quiet location; nice staff
Lack of amenities (no tissues, lotions etc.)AC did not work well

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was fine for one person, but the two people room was the same size and could have felt cramped.I don't mind taking public transportation to and from the hotel to the city center but for people who don't like that , they should stay at a different location closer to town.

Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Hotel room doesn't provide tissue paper. They said their toilet had a blockage problem last year and they stopped providing tissues to their guests. My husband caught a cold and we had to buy a box of tissues to use. Their bathroom still smells like sewer.

Located in a beautiful location with a lot of trees and grass. Only 5 minutes away from tram station. But we stayed there for 6 days. Their breakfast has NO change in 6 days. We suggested adding something new or make some changes every morning to have some varieties.

It was in a nice area and a tram stop was located right outside of the hotel making it easy to get into downtown Amsterdam.
There were no bed sheets on the bed, I wasn't sure if this was a European thing or not.

For a 4 star hotel considered, hoped he had some official who spoke languages other than Dutch (official language) and English. There was no one to speak at least Spanish. There was no refrigerator in the apartment and when we ask to take us bottled water, I was charged 10 euros for the service. In the 2 days that we stayed, there was cleaning the apartment. Despite the TRAM pass near the hotel, it is far from the main sights of the city and you need to remember that public transport in Amsterdam is not cheap. For these reasons, I can not recommend the hotel. ...read more

Very nice and modern. Staff was nice. Location was great next to the park and tram stop so you can get around very easily.
The shower only had half a glass door so the floor would get wet when you showered. No refrigerator in the rooms or ice bucket. Ice bucket hat to be requested and ice machines were only on a few floors

Overall it was very good. Restaurant in the hotel was good. Expensive though but pretty much everything I'm Amsterdam is expensive.
