Hotel Guest Reviews of the Nh Collection Royal Quito

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Very helpful staff. Quick response to requests.
No breakfast. No vending or ice machines. Minibar prices were ridiculous. Surprised by charge for concierge service.

This hotel is very luxurious compared to the average Radisson in the States. The location is wonderful, the room was large and well furnished for working or lounging, the services available were terrific including the spa services, and the staff is great
We had a little problem with the hotel maid "inadvertently" walking off with a room key. The front desk managed the situation very well and the employee herself was very apologetic, the room was "re-keyed" and all was well but it was disconcerting.

All the facilities are very good, restaurant, bar, etc. They have a "SPA" with many massage and facial services offered but the Spa is not part of the hotel itself, but contracted out. No matter, we both had the bambu massages and agreed they were the best massage treatments we have ever had in a spa.

Nice for the area.
The hotel van does not run to and from the airport as advertised. You have to add $60 to your stay for transportation. Apparently the city disallowed hotel vans to pick up or drop off from the airport.

The location is perfect to my needs. Supermarket down street, Deli across street. 24-hr Taxi service. Location near everything. They also have the best French Onion Soup I've ever tasted. The food is outstanding.
The Staff is very friendly and helpful, but a lot is lost in translation, making one repeat themselves over and over or going through same routine several times.

I've stayed here before and always had great experience.

Very clean. Staff excellent.
No pool. Hard to tell which water is free and which has charges.

I was very happy with the stay. Very comfortable hotel, clearly above average.

Internet was wireless and free--high speed and easy to setup.
Could use two bottles of free water rather than one because in Ecuador you need lots of water--altitude!

An island of US style luxury amid a sea of questionable choices in a foreign city.
No complaints.

If you seek a starting place to explore Quito or simply want a respite from "adventurous" hotels, the Radisson provides a safe, comfortable, and luxurious alternative.

Shuttle service to/from airport was a pleasant surprise. (was not mentioned online)
Requested a wake-up call and did not get it.

The Radisson Royal Quito is a nice hotel with a friendly staff.
