Hotel Guest Reviews of the Radisson Milwaukee North Shore

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Responsive staff - initially had a room facing the road, intolerable noise, asked to be moved and was immediately given a much less noisy room. Sleep number beds - yeah! Fast check in and out.
Building access - there are side doors that did not work with the room "key" though they were supposed to - had to park far away from front door, made me uneasy when I returned late night TV - need to have a "sleep" function

Helpful and friendly staff. The facility was very nice and clean, and the location is perfect.
Room was a little smaller than I expected, but still good. Breakfast "buffet" was smaller than I would expect for the price. Nice swimming pool, but the rules were not enforced, which mean screaming rowdy kids until later than expected.

There was no a/c in the room and a result we were not able to sleep because it was too hot.

The area it was located in
The entrance doors did not work w/ the room key. Only one person at the front desk. Person unable to handle volume of people at counter, and answer phones in timely manner. maint worker in room assigned -ret to desk 3 times before in my room.

Manager did work to satisfy situation- he went to check on entrance, and was unable to enter w/ the master key. He offered complimentary drinks at the bar, or breakfast in the morning. Not the fault of the workers.... Not the best experience.

It had free parking and free internet.
Room looks old and smelled bad.

The fitness room was badly equipped with some machines barely working and one treqdmill not safely out of order while it's running band doesn't work well at all.The drinking water bubbler by the pool produced bad tasting water. The feeling of the hotel is like it's a somewhat old and rundown hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room and facilities were clean and well kept.
The room was noisy from the adjacent highway and the there was a lot of activity late at night with doors slamming and people coughing.

The feeling of being at home, the way the building is made resembles a townhouse (on the outside). Also, there were two attached restaurants and one of them, Champps, had really good food and large portion sizes. Snack foods were decently priced.
The room only came with 2 face towels, movies were the same price as the theater, even old ones. Pillows could've been better and the hottub, although a nice size, was hard to get in and out of and hurt my leg getting out. Otherwise, nice for a 3 star.
