Two major problems. Number one. There is major construction taking place next door, which I was not informed about at time of booking. Was rudely awoken by a jackhammer at 8:30 in the morning. It went quiet by 10:30, so clearly nobody from the hotel had communicated to the construction site asking them to keep their early morning work to be quiet. Number two. Power adapter. You would think that in this day and age every front desk would be well stocked with power adaptors. They had none. They offered to drop one off for me in the morning, but this did not work out. First of all, what use is it in the morning? One needs their phone/tablet to charge overnight, so it is ready to go for the next day - who wants to leave their device behind during the day? Don't they get that that's when we actually want to use it? Anyway, as it turned out, nobody even showed up with an adaptor the next morning - it was complete hogwash. ...
