Hotel Guest Reviews of the Oasis At The Gold Spike Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The decor in the room was simple but kind of cool.
The checkin was excruciatingly long and complex. Unfortunately, I wasn’t the only one who had these problems. The loud techno music went into the early hours of the morning (5am). Probably won’t stay there again. Overall, unimpressive.

Not much positives here besides the outside of the hotel which was fun.
I was stuck at reception for over an hour, late at night. We get into the room and the beds dirty with stains on it.

If you are young and want to have a good party time, this would be a great hotel. The downstairs bar/clib area was nice, the patio/pool area with all the games looked like a great “spring break” kind of hotel larty area. Good deal for the loca
The rooms are not great, chips and cracks in paint, carpet was atrocious, door wouldn’t close unless you really slammed it, bathroom was pretty much hotel average to small, bed was comfortable though.

The hotel was wonderful and the housekeeping staff were the best. They provide free newspapers, appreciated that. Loved the restaurant & security staff. #1 the Front office staff laidback attitude would be refreshing if they were more competent.
The front offices/registration is poorly managed. It took about 15-20 minutes to locate our reservations. We interacted with 3 different register staff, each one was unfamiliar with the procedures of the previous person. It was a little frustrating.

they provided free stuff to us because of how busy they were.
The hotel floor we slept on smelt like marijuana.

The hotel is in a great location one block away from buses going to and from the strip. The Freemont Experience is also just one block down, and the staff is friendly.
The hotel rooms are small and smelled like cigarette and recreational marijuana. The bedsheets were stained, they weren't switched out, unless you ask. There's music playing literally just outside the hotel walls and enters the room on full blast. Until 2 am

Booked the deluxe double queen but was put in a single queen as an "upgrade" for the same price. Uhhhhh.... not an upgrade. Also ended up paying for parking somewhere else because none was available. Oh.... and a $50 "resort" fee for a Motel is dumb.

Location was good, and the hotel bar was fun.
The room (and the entire floor) smelled really, really bad, like mold and smoke and cleaning fluid, very strong, a smell which would not go away. It even seeped into our clothes and hair. It was intolerable. We would never stay there again.
