Hotel Guest Reviews of the Mercure Stoller Zürich

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

This is a very nice hotel with very modern well equipped rooms. Everything worked well, except the wifi (see below). The place was quiet, efficent and comfortable.
The wifi system is extremely cumbersome and complex to use. It logs you off if randomly. If you don't use it's logoff page, it gets confused. One code only good for one device; apparently designed before smart phones.

This is an excellent hotel for tourists in Zurich. It is abourt out, 10 minutes by tram, but a direct ride from the station. It is very clean, very efficent, and the rooms are very well appointed. I had some issues with the wifi, but all things considered, I enjoyed my stay.

Excellent service from staff, very clean and well-kept.
Ridiculously expensive breakfast. The neighborhood is a little dodgy - not many restaurants nearby, but great bakeries for the morning.

Clean and convenient to public transit.
Room was a little awkward, television at weird angle, etc.

Difficult to access, things like the fridge did not work.

Not a good place for travelers with children. I wouldn't consider it a four star at all.

The breakfast buffet.
No air conditioning, not thoroughly cleaned.

Given the high hotel room prices in Zurich, this was a good hotel for the money.

It was reachable by public transportation from main station in 10 min.
The rooms were tiny.

The hotel is marketed as a city center hotel - it is not in the city center strictly speaking. The rooms were very tiny even for European conditions and had very few amenities: e.g. No air conditioning. Noisy too.

The room looked nice.
Horribly noisy, right over a train track and my room was behind the hotel sign that was lit up all night long with flood lights.

They stated that the rooms they were given were horribly noisy and lit up. I assume they save these horrible rooms for tourist that book through discount websites. The room I received was a tiny room right next to the stairs and facing the front of the hotel. The room looked really nice until you opened the windows for circulation (no ac). When the sun went down the room was flooded with light from the flood lights facing the sign on the front of the hotel. ...read more

The reception area and the receptionists and the mattresses at the room.

Very small hotel, on the main road and with poor public areas. But close to the train station and very often transportation to the city center.

Very nice rooms and service.
Too far from the center of town.

This was a very nice hotel, although a little offs the beaten path. It did however have easy access to the city center via the easy to use Zurich tram system.

Clean, convenient.
Rated 4 stars but 2.5 - 3 at best so disappointed.

OK but not 4 star and not centrally located as requested.
