Hotel Guest Reviews of the Marriott MelbourneOur hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The hotel was quite nice, but the disappointment was that it had been billed as a 5 star property, and it should have been in only the 4 star category. This undercuts the trust in Priceline that you will get something of the quality you anticipated.

This hotel is 3-star at best. It is not near the quality of other top hotels in Melbourne. Do not be fooled with the Marriott name. All furnishings and decor are extremely dated in the hotel. To summarize, the staff were rude and slow at everything, the room smelled like mold and mildew, and the small CRT TV was so dated it had a sticker on it from the hotel stating that it needed to be retired and replaced but the hotel had not gotten around to it. This sticker was so old it was starting to fade and people had picked and peeled at it over the years. Terrible stay... Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. ...
