Hotel Guest Reviews of the Keio Plaza Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location is good, staff is good.
Loud, lots and lots of tour groups, people shouting in the hallways in 6:30-7:00 am to get their tour groups together.

I've stayed in lot of hotels in Tokyo, and you can do a lot better in this price range. The rooms are small and nothing special. While neat and clean, they also show lots of wear. On the weekend I was there, it seemed to cater mostly to Chinese tour groups. The public spaces were loud and crowded and chaotic.

It is in an excellent location - close to Shinjuku station.
They would no accommodate us with a cot for our daughter. They provided two double beds so we had to share. It was obvious from the room configuration, and wall damage, that a cot or a third bed had been in the room previously. A bit disingenuous.

Really old fashion. The lobby area is very cold with no real warmth to it. No ambiance.

Room size is large for Japan. Good location.
Sporadic Wi-fi. The hotel turns off the main air conditioner for the rooms on cold days; it gets very stuffy.and the windows do not open.

The room size in the main tower is large for Japan. It's within walking distance for the department stores, transportation lines, and restaurants. The airport limousine bus stops at the hotel. The air conditioner for the rooms are turned off during cold days so it gets really stuffy. Even on warm days the air conditioner was turned off and the windows do not open. The carpet needs to be cleaned you can see a lot of stains. Also, they don't have an ice machine on the floor.you need to call room service for ice. ...read more

Luxury hotel at a great price.
No shuttle bus to Shinjuku Station.

This was a great Tokyo hotel at a great price. Hotel was clean, luxurious, super courteous English-speaking staff and was the equivalent of the fancy Century Hyatt Hotel located across the street. Located about at about a 5-10 minute walk from Shinjuku Station (west side, Odakyu entrance), it is very conveniently located.
