Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hotel Plaza Revolución

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Good central location to Belleas Arteas and many historical sites and metro
The rooms are fairly small, you have to ask for a second towel for the room. If you leave the window open mosquitoes come in and bite you in the night. The hotel breakfast is overpriced and looked terrible.

The price and location. Once I got there i realized it looks pretty good.
no.

The front desk lady was too serious and seemed like she was having a bad day. Just needs to work on her attitude.

Location was central between historic district and southern more modern districts.
No a.c. Although not needed a fan wouldve been nice.

Very clean, helpful staff, and good location make this hotel a bargain.

Excellent staff, friendly
No air conditioning in room, no refridgerator.

Hotel Plaza Revolucione appears to be a new hotel and they are still ironing things out. About a 25 minute walk from the Centro Historico, next to the main street Paseo de la Reforma, and alongside the Revolution Monument park. All-in-all, it was a good, cheap place to stay with only minor complaints. No air conditioning in the room and no refridgerator. No complimentary coffee and/or food in the morning, however this was specified in the price. The hotel is on a small, congested and dirty one-way alleyway - which may surprise out-of-country visitors. I would return to this location again for the deal of a price. Also note that the hotel charged an extra $900 Pesos for the stay above the priceline price, which brought the total to aroundxxx US a night, vs. the advertised price ofxxx per night. ...read more

The staff was very attentive while also giving the guest the desired privacy which is a difficult balance that they handled immaculately! I will suggest this hotel to friends in the future!

The hotel's staff was very helpful from the small items of needing a hairdryer, iron and other issues to the larger items of suggesting locations to visit, calling the required services (taxis and bus companies) to ensure safe travels and they kept the room clean without disturbing myself or my fiancee once. I was pleasantly surprised by ability of the staff to be very attentive while also giving the guests the privacy desired. I will definitely suggest this hotel to friends in the future. The location is pretty central with a metro stop nearby (Metro Hidalgo) and located a few blocks away from Avenida Reforma (a main street in Mexico City). ...read more

The location is great, half a block away from two of the main streets in Mexico City.
I was there end of August, the weather is warm. The hotel does not have central AC or AC for that matter. If you ask they will accommodate you with a portable fan. I do not know anything about their parking as I did not have need for it.

The hotel is nice and clean, the staff is very helpful too. They do serve a breakfast buffet which I did not use but did order room service. The food was cold and the coffee was not strong, but I find regular coffee to not be strong enough for the most part in Mexico. The rooms are not sound proof, sometimes you it can get a little loud during the day with the staff working. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it. ...read more
