Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. quiet for a very busy area
it wasn't equivalent to a 4 star, not close. It is located in a very busy and touristy area, too much so for my tastes.

This was a disappointment, as it really isn't 4 star quality. Perhaps some people who enjoy a busy and tourist filled area might give it another start for location. A great location for the old city of Barcelona, but be sure that is where you want to be. It is difficult to find good restaurants in this area and decide between the tourist driven run of the mill feedbags and the better quality restaurants. ...read more

When we first got there we realized the location was amazing. The hotel itself was beautiful and we were so happy to be there. Marc at the front desk was extra helpful and our experience there was great.
Nothing. I genuinely enjoyed our stay here.

The hotel was in a great location right off Las Ramblas. Our room was very neatly decorated, and I liked the theme of Opera that went through our room and the wall paper as well. We had no issues with cleanliness and or noise whatsoever. Barcelona was the last stop on our trip through Europe and I'm very pleased with everything. It was a relaxing place to wind down and get ready to come back to the states. Very pleased with our stay. ...read more

Very good, central location, near by good walking area and restaurants. Not Deluxe, but good for few days.
Single or Double rooms are small, no place to put your luggage, we had to put it on the table, and shower sprays water every were.

Very good location, small boutique hotel with nice breakfast court yard area, small hotel rooms, some rooms shower with half door, so water go every where, breakfast not very good, but OK if you want to eat in the hotel. No place for luggage, strange room design. Request room overlooking court yard, street area can be very loud.

I liked the location.
Lots of steps & bad access to our room

The hotel was centrally located & good shopping right out our door. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The room was very clean & nicely decorated.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
The bed where very hard and when you used the bathroom the light would shine in the bedroom.

Hotel staff was always willing to help out.

This hotel was in a very convenient location. Right in the heart of the city and 5min walk to the metro.
My room was small and the bed was quite uncomfortable.

I stayed here for 5 nights. It was my first time visiting Barcelona. I found the location to be very convenient. It is just off Las Ramblas and a 5 min walk to the metro. There are many restaurants and shops nearby, as well as a grocery store. The room itself was a bit on the small side, but as just one person I found it okay. The bed was rock hard and not comfortable at all. I had a courtyard facing room and did not hear any outside noise. It was the noise in the hallway that frequently woke me as people seemed to stream in at all hours and there is no noise barrier between the rooms and the hallways. You cannot check in before 2pm, do not even try. The hotel staff are friendly and do speak English. The hotel offers a free 2 1/2hour walking tour of the area every day as well as breakfast on the weekends. Not sure of the price as most people seem to have it included in their stay. There is no restaurant or bar apart from the breakfast. Overall, I would probably stay here again as the price was right, but it's not a 4 star hotel if that's what you're looking for. ...read more

The location is great- just off of the Ramblas, so it is convenient to get to most locations. Amenities are good, and it's fairly large.
Staff were not super friendly, and noise from the hallway was quite load at times.

I had read some negative reviews of this hotel and was wary- but we had a good experience. Pros: The room and bed were large, and the laptop in the room was really nice to have. It was a large, modern bathroom. It is in the thick of the action just off of the Ramblas, but we didn't get any street noise. Cons: Like most hotels, noise transferred quite easily from the hallway. Doors slamming and an arguing family woke us up a few times. The staff were not super friendly, but we had the same experience in all of the European hotels we stayed in. Overall we were happy and thought it was a good value for the money. ...read more

Nothing.
Dirty, small and uncomfortable room. Bad location.

This hotel is absolutely not a 4-star hotel. Room was dirty, small and uncomfortable. Very few amenities. Had to wait 2 hours after check-in time for a room. Heard every noise in the hallway. Shower was almost unusable - doors did not close and water went everywhere.
