Accessibility

Room was compact with most of the usual amenities. Beautiful pool and outside areas. On site parking and great on site restaurant. Great location. Short walk to Chemin du Halage and St Cirq la Popie (4km). Short drive to Peche Merle art cave. Toilet separate from bathroom. Very friendly staff.

Paper cups in room instead of glasses. Only one chair for a double room. No fridge - space in room but fridge had been removed. No aircon. Shower incorrectly mounted to wall - ok though if you are under 5 feet tall. Few power points. A bit poor for a supposed three star hotel .

Our stay here was absolutely lovely, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The views are astounding, the pool, gardens and terrace spacious and clean. Staff were relaxed, welcoming and helpful. And the food extremely good, including bacon and scrambled eggs for breakfast. Can’t recommend enough.

Magnificent location. It was in a beautiful spot right on the river Lot. The food was delicious and the staff really friendly and helpful. Will definitely come again.

The location is stunning and so peaceful. Staff so helpful & friendly.

No air-con but traditional French shutters worked very well (if you remember to use them rather than waking up 1/2 way through the night)

In the hot weather the pool was perfect an the room had a fan whih worked well for a good night's sleep. The area around the hotel was God's own country. So beautiful and we felt priveleged to have been told about it as a must see by others. The boat trip from the jetty showed us even more beauty along the river. Going up to St Cirque la poppie is an easy drive and provides an excellent view of the whole region and a pretty small village to enjoy.

Very little

The location - it was a lot further from Cahors than the distance provided by Booking.com and the roads to get there were narrow and badly surfaced. The room was small and the beds of poor quality. Dinner was pretty good, but expensive, while the breakfast was poor (and expensive) given that the hotel claims to bake their own bread. The coffee was undrinkable. Additionally, one guest seemed to think it was acceptable to have his phone on speakerphone while he loudly discussed confidential issues. I would expect the staff to intervene, but they didn't. Overall, I don't know how the hotel justifies a single night at almost 200 Euros

The Staff were absolutely fabulous - so welcoming, competent & willing to please! The Restaurant was exceptional with great wine choices!

Property is dated and old .they need serious remodeling .

It's fantastic place. Scenery, and room, and pool, and food. Really exeptional. It's no "just a hotel", it's place worth a visit.
