Pros +

everything was very pleasant. Loved being able to check in early when I arrived. Love the way the hotel looked. Loved the pool/ocean view.
The location was convenient, a mere 5-10 minute drive to the airport. Kind security guard (Dexter) who did his best to get me into my room and make me feel safe and accommodated.
Quiet rooms, great view, great showers.

Cons -

Was not happy about parking so very far away and not knowing if closer spots in the back of hotel were available until driving back there at night. Broken or peeled up floor board in my room needed repair and the toilet seat was broken.
Upon arrival, there was no record of my booking. I never got a key to my room. Also calling this place a resort is a bit of a stretch. It's an apartment complex.
The property is big and everything is very spread out. Unless you valet you'll be doing a lot of walking back and forth to your car. The check in desk is far from the entrance and most rooms. It suffers from a lack of food and beverage options.

The grounds of this hotel and the setting are beautiful. The updated rooms are bright and fresh, the bed and linens are comfy. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the staff were lovely. The beach is beautiful and the bay mostly calm.
