Pros +
- This was probably the best hotel I've ever stayed at for the price/star-rating. It was eclectic. The staff was FANTASTIC. The rooms were fun (who can say that about a hotel). Each room had a different display and it was like stepping back in time
- Conveniently located close to two large malls (including a Walmart), bus station close by with many scheduled stops directly to downtown and several restaurants nearby. The hotel restaurant is also very good.
- It was an excellent experience from start to finish. All the staff members were exceptional. The front desk, restaurant, and cleaning staff were always happy and friendly. The retro decor is 70's inspired. The rooms were clean and modern.
Cons -
- The prices for breakfast at the onsite restaurant were OUTRAGEOUS. Ridiculous. The food was good, but definitely NOT worth the price. I've paid less (even with the currency conversion) at 4 and 5 star restaurants. Didn't even bother for lunch/dinner.
- Being on a major street, it's fairly noisy in the morning/afternoons. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Although it's only 2/3 storeys, anyone w/ mobility issues or a seniors may have troubles as there is no elevators.
