I love this hotel and have stayed there a few times. I like the location which is closed to stores,coffee shops,restaurants and everything I need. It's a cozy hotel with great customer service,great price and very clean.I recommend everyone to stay there

The rooms were clean.
I don’t think I’ve ever given a bad review and really don’t like to because I get things happen, but all these things could’ve been avoided and costed me an unnecessary amount of money and time wasted - so this warrants a bad review. We booked this hotel after verifying 4 different times with 4 different hotel staff and their reservations team that we’d be able to see the festival of lights fireworks from our hotel room. They said yes each time I asked. We paid a bit more for a room with a river view as they instructed us to do to ensure we could see the fireworks. We got a room where we couldn’t see anything! They wouldn’t switch our rooms nor give us any kind of refund or discount for our troubles since they claimed it was due to an “outside event”. The only reason why we intended to book this $400+ room was to avoid the crowds and see the fireworks. Valet also takes triple the amount of time they tell you to get your car - it took 45 minutes at 10pm to get our car out! The staff at the restaurant connected next door, Hoyt, were also very rude, they forgot to give my son his drink and a plate multiple times. He ate his pizza without a plate.

Overall this hotel is excellent. The staff is quite friendly and helpful. our room was spacious and quite comfortable.
No assistance in getting an early morning taxi.

Great hotel in a great location! Really enjoyed the stay in a brilliant city. Would definitely recommend The Royal Sonesta and would stay here again.
