Really good location. Cleaning staff was actually nice.
The rooms are old with finishes falling apart. Carpets and couches have stains. Beds advertised as Queen are actually Full size. One of the rooms had cockroaches in the bathroom and the kitchen resulting in us switching rooms in the middle of the night. The front desk staff seemed surprised to hear that (but not really).

Very good location
Literally the worst hotel experience I've ever had. When I checked in the receptionist immediately started questioning what I did for a living. She did not ask this of the man behind me. I was unaware that a woman can't travel alone without being questioned. I grabbed dinner and there were two men outside the door doing drugs. The security guard made a snide comment about me to another guest (for context I'm almost 60 so unsure what the deal was). The hotel is rundown, stains on the carpet, wall paper coming off walls, etc. They also failed to mention there was construction going on. I had a conference call and literally couldn't hear. It's mentioned in other reviews that it smells like cigarette smoke, it does! This place was truly terrible. I write this to caution others (especially single women) from staying there. I would have never though a Marriott property could be this bad.

rooms were spacious
when first checking in we got a room that I did not pay for after a hour was finally put in the correct room, the room was paid in full before we arrived and I was still over charged for parking(supposed to be $50 I was charged $100), was charged several different times different prices from$218-$440 which messed my card up for the rest of my trip. after calling twice and telling me they would call me back I have still not received a call back. wont be staying here when I’m back in town…

Friendly and helpful staff , good location near restaurants and transportation, sizable comfortable rooms, and sizable free breakfast.
A few problems with keycards de-magnetizing and not working in the gym. Small gym.

Location, Location, Location -- it was perfectly situated within D.C. Main Metro down the block, so easy access to entire city. Room was nice and comfortable. Very nice hot breakfast, plenty of food, no worries of running out; well serviced.
No complaints.

Room size, and my room (facing rear) was very quiet, which is important for me when judging a hotel.
