While the hotel's location was convenient, the overall experience was far from satisfactory. It's a valuable lesson that location is not as important as reading the bad reviews this place has. This hotel is overpriced with no internet in the rooms. I recommend looking for more convenient options in the area as there are better deals available. The pictures may look decent, but the service is terrible.

My stay at Hotel Marqueses was marked by overpriced rates for the services provided, totaling 186 USD for 2 nights. Despite paying a premium for the area, I encountered numerous issues during my stay. One of the most significant inconveniences was the complete lack of internet access. Even after raising this concern with the staff, their response was ineffective. The room's cleanliness left much to be desired, and the overall atmosphere was unpleasant, mainly due to a windowless room that felt incredibly cramped. To make matters worse, the room was devoid of essential items like toilet paper, and to my surprise, there was leftover food from previous guests. What particularly concerned me was the staff's attitude when I brought up these issues. It's evident that their level of service does not match the high prices they charge. I would strongly recommend exploring more convenient and reasonably priced options in the area, as Hotel Marqueses failed to provide even the basic comforts of a pleasant stay. There are better deals available, and while the pictures may seem nice.... the actual experience falls significantly short of expectations. Lesson learned! Read the reviews!!!

If I was coming back to Cusco I would stay here. Only a few blocks from the main Plaza. The staff were amazing my mum was a little unwell with altitude sickness and they got oxegon for her and helped call a Dr. The breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and eggs cooked fresh. The place is just beautiful aswell with the interior courtyards and there is a lounge we used after check out as we had a late bus leaving Cusco. Free cocoa tea available.
