Ground floor room with access to garden for dogs.
Unclear signage for entry to property from the road. Ended up driving across the lawn in the dark!
Very comfortable Hotel in the country, staff were excellent particularly the manager/receptionist
Be wary of booking a saturday night! A wedding disco playing techno music until 3.30 am despite being put on the far side of the hotel it was a hot night and the sound travels...
Excellent location, very quiet with nice garden
we had a room with broken shower head. very unfortunate because this really influence the experience and is a bad start into the day. something to overcome with very little money
The meals were nice: decent selection of brekfast items, and freshly made coffee and eggs. Dinner was good, and they made something off-menu for our kid.
We selected this hotel so that we could enjoy the pool with our kid. However, the water was very cold so it was impossible to use the pool. We selected the room because it was supposed to have a bath tub, but upon arrival it became clear there was no bath tub, only a really bad shower. In general, the hotel is quite outdated and the furniture etc. is very old and worn down.
Excellent food and a most warm welcome. A true gem of classic hospitality in a family tradition of hoteliery.
