Fabulous castle with beautiful grounds and swimming pool in charming village. Excellent breakfast buffet for 18 euros gave us a great start for the day’s activities.

    Morning coffee could be stronger!

Our poolside room was lovely. Not in chateau but below it, giving us a nice view of it! Wonderful petite déjeuner.

Lovely chateau, dinner was excellent fancy food. We loved it.

    Tiny soaps and leaking water.

The chateau and grounds are wonderful. We stayed in one of the cave suites, with a queen bed, a large sitting area with a pull-out couch for our adult son, effective air-conditioning, and an excellent bath. The room was amazing, with two large doors and windows, so it was not the least claustrophobic, and whitewashed rough stone walls so the structure of the cave was apparent. We enjoyed the swimming pool too. Excellent breakfast. We recommend booking their restaurant for dinner—we really enjoyed our meal. Good food, excellent service, in the former chapel. We loved our visit and strongly recommend it to all.

    Loved everything.

Beautiful old Chateau. Room restored nicely. Old beams. Great mattress. Very good AC once you figure out how to use it. Great heated pool. Courtyard with fountain. Excellent staff. Good elevator.

Nothing but the stairs to the pool are VERY steep and not for the mobility challenged. You can drive down ask at the desk.

The chateau was fantastic and the staff were all wonderful! They were so helpful and friendly and being in a real chateau was a great experience. I had fun exploring around. The pool was nice and there was a lift to our floor which turned out to be critical because my husband hurt his knee and couldn’t do stairs. We also had the dinner there with the wine pairing, which was almost perfect.

My only complaint was with the dinner- and really everything was delicious and beautifully presented with great local wines- but my veal was so tough I couldn’t eat it. I don’t eat veal much, so maybe that isn’t unusual, but I thought veal would be tender. The other main dishes my family had were great, as were the entrees and desserts- I would definitely still recommend having a meal at the chateau, just not the veal.

This is an amazing place! Beautiful and full of history. Our room was exceptionally gorgeous and comfortable. The grounds were also beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.

    Everything was perfect

Really romantic place to stay! Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant lovely!

We booked a room by the pool not knowing that meant a huge amount of stairs down to it. The staff changed our room to a closer one without stairs which was nice as we cannot do a lot of stairs at this point.

Character and nice staff. Julien in the restaurant was wonderful.

It is further out than we realized. We are still very glad we stayed here but the drive back in the dark and rain was tough.

Lovely staff member as we arrived.

The lady on the front desk when we left could have been nicer, the flush on toilet broke and tiles around the sink were missing. Also I didn't book the cheapest room as I didn't want to be in the attic, we were upgraded which was nice but to what was called a superior room but it was in the attic.

Beautiful location. Upkeep of the castle was nicely done. It had a lot of charm and character. Breakfast was very good, but a little pricey. The staff was courteous. Parking was included in the price of the room.

The room we were given wasn't representative of the picture. When I reserved the room, I requested 2 beds. When the Booking was completed, it CONFIRMED that my request was accepted stating 2 queen beds. My niece told me after we were presented with the room, that one double bed was too small (which is what we were provided). She went to rent a separate room. I followed her and told the reception that I believed I was supposed to have 2 beds. She ignored me, and continued to book the extra room. She later told me that EVEN THOUGH MY RESERVATION CONFIRMED 2 BEDS, I needed to write a special request for it. I have tried on several occasions to communicate this with the direction,, and even sent an email to the direction attaching a picture of the reservation with 2 queen beds stated on the reservation, but they still indicate that I should've written a specific note requesting 2 beds. I asked for 1/2 of the price of one of the two rooms be refunded, but so far, they've refused.

You can take pictures of the starry night near swimming pool. The sky is full of stars.

There is no chateau feeling if you live near swimming pool.
