- This is our favourite stopover for our journey to and from Spain. The garden overflows with nature, we wake up listening to 10 different bird calls. The hotel has the most comfortable bed and pillows, the breakfast is superb. The addition of the outside dining area has really enhanced the stay this year and made our evening meal even more special. We cant fault the host for his hospitality and sense of humour and always love booking our return journey.

- The restaurant was very good. Our entrecote steak was one of the best we have ever had. Breakfast was excellent. Our bedroom with garden view and four-poster bed with large bathroom with bath and shower was excellent.

- We paid extra for off street parking as our car was loaded with Christmas gifts etc so wanted to be off the road side parking outside the hotel. Scope for hotel's off street parking facilities to be made better and available free of charge.
