Location, location, what a spot! If you are looking to be away from the city, on the water and having access to a restaurant on site, this is the place to go. There are several other restaurants near by but will need to drive. Service is top notch, they have though of every details.

We stayed for three nights and would have liked to have stayed longer.

The view of the waves crashing just beyond the perimeter of the property is absolutely spectacular.. The member of staff on site was extremely personable, cheerful and helpful. Enrico's, the restaurant below is warm and vibey and prepares delicious food. We also had our best ever Tiramisu there and our waiter made it a truly pleasant evening for us. The setting is truly beautiful and allowed us to take a wonderful, long sand beach walk towards Keurbooms river from Mare Nostrum. We could have walked on for miles. Our balcony, overlooking the restaurant below,and the waves breaking on the shore just beyond that, was lovely and the room is dwell decorated with high quality finishings.

I had erroneously assumed a suite would have a separate bedroom. This is more like a (very nice) studio. Describing the couple of yogurts, juice, milk and muesli in a jar as a continental breakfast is stretching the point. Good self catering hosts often provide this as extras without the need to describe them as any kind of breakfast. The fact that cooking utensils were in rather short supply and the fridge is so small makes true self catering very difficult. The setting of "five star" accommodation above a restaurant results in a quirky feel, with a fairly constant buzz of activity from midmorning to 9pm. We were there during a cold snap and felt it because of not arranging the fire to be lit in the (efficient-looking) fireplace. There is no aircon. All in all, we found the pricing for the suite to be a bit steep for what was there.
