Comfortable clean quiet hotel in Neckartal-Odenwald natural park area.
Very traditional family run hotel, friendly helpful staff, clean, comfortable & quiet, countryside views. Spacious room with balcony, shower (in room) fine, separate toilet (basin in room) needs rethink as no proper ventilation. Breakfast OK, good coffee, teas, nice apples, boiled eggs, ham, cheese etc. Useful village shop nearby. Restaurant closed while we were there, (open Thurs-Sun) & no bar for drinks or snacks either. Mini fridge in room would help in summer.. Dave's Grill at campsite in walking distance, delicious food! NB hotel is in Krumbach:a small, country village in an attractive area of rolling hills & forests. Limbach, a short bus ride (or pleasant walk/cycle along old railway) has more shops, cafe/bakery, take-away etc. Mosbach (railway station) c.35 mins by bus, pretty, historic old town centre. Heilbronn nearest large town.
