Beautiful rural location. Decent size bath with plenty of hot water.

The ‘hotel-lodges’ were poorly maintained - lots of screws not properly fitted, doors which didn’t close properly as the wood had swelled. Cold in the morning (in August) as the inside is not insulated in any way (which also meant it was quite noisy), curtains were not lined and bedding was cheap polyester. What could have been a very nice stay in an unusual location was let down by poorly maintained rooms.

The location is perfect for puy du foy, 12mins in car. The breakfast is good. The room has a hot shower and clean toilet.

The rooms are dark, musty and damp, even in height of summer at 30 degrees, being made from pretreated planks and osb board with no covering. At night it was so hot to start with and no fans but as these are single plank shed like material by the middle of the night was cold. My son fell out of bed first night and commented that bed was at an angle. When checked the next day was because the legs were broken off... when complained was given one breakfast as recompense. It's a woodland retreat.. I understand but is not worth nearly £200 a night.

Friendly and responsive host. Rooms were cute. Kids enjoyed the themed room. Close to Puy du Fou. Breakfast was good - yummy croissants

The themes were lovely, the setting/forest/views made for a magical stay for young ones. Lovely shower and comfortable beds.

No tea/coffee facilities/fridge.

the concept of a wooden woodland retreat seemed attractive

The delivery of the above concept is very poor. The wooden hut that is the room was not fully prepared and had rather poor construction. on arrival after a 13 hour day we found the beds unmade. The wooden construction used raw timber not sealed wood so every stain is there permanently. Water stains from shower and loo included. There were some areas of ‘sterling board’ compressed chipboard instead of natural planks.The toilet door handle fell of when first touched.One bedside light did not work.There were no coffee/tea facilities and no bottled water. This was not a budget hotel costing over €300 for two nights.When some financial compensation was requested by us, the owners suddenly decided that English was not within their understanding and refused to discuss recompense.As their clientele was all French excepting ourselves and as they are very near Puy Du Fou, I suspect they do not care what an English family thinks of their establishment.

A bit of fun and great for 2 nights. Comfortable and close to nature, with great breakfast and the beat croissants.

It was lovely, close to nature and relaxing.

spacious 2 bedroom cabin with fairytale decor, great for children under 10. Modern bathroom with spa bath. Evening meal was good quality and easy with the children

Bugs with it being a woodland stay! Rooms were hot, needed fans which they did provide.
