We came by car in the summer (just before high season) and stayed 5 night in the Agerhof, but were located in the Landhaus Ager-building. Our stay was absolutely perfect! Our most positive experiences: - Parking was free and directly next to te hotel; very convinient! - The hotel is located very calmly, away from the touristic buzz. Although no direct view of the Wilde Kaiser, the surroundings are amazing. Going to the closest town (for dining) is possible by foot (20min), but bike and car are way faster. - Our room was very clean and cosy, having a little balcony. The little built in seats with table was actually very nice (even for short working on a laptop). The bathroom was rather small, but manageable. - Breakfast was very good, a lot of choice and good quality. We only had dinner once, as we prefer going in to town. Dinner was OK, but we were glad we did not have full pension, as the offer of good restaurants in the region is very high (even by family of the hotel-owners). - The outdoor swimming pool was perfect. Either swimming in the morning or cooling down after a active day. We did not use the indoor-pool or spa-facilities, as the weather was to good! - Last but not least: GREAT and super friendly personnel: everyone! Very helpful and patient! An extra shout-out to the gardeners. What a beautiful garden surrounding the pool. Unique for a hotel and perfect for reading a book!

We don't really have issues, but do have some recommendations: - If people would like to rent a bike, they should reserve this in advance. Fortunately, we were lucky once, but the amount of (e)bikes is naturally limited, so unfortunately the next day we could not rent a bike at the hotel. Our fault we didn't think of this... ;-) - The bathroom can use a curtain, since it could get al little wet in the small bathroom after a shower. This is also the case for our washbasin, which was located in the corner of the room.

Good breakfast, excellent coffee. Surroundings wonderful, possibilities of trips everywhere.
