Room was clean

Looks like a casino, the access is ugly, no room service at night.

The place is clean, secure and lose to the train station.

The location of the hotel is conveniently close to the train station. The bedding was okay and the hotel itself was quite peaceful. Unfortunately not too much good to write for a place that seemingly had (has) four stars.

The rooms had no fridge or kettle. For the price of the room, I would have at least expected a kettle and fridge. There was no means to have a tea or coffee in the room. The cleanliness of the dishes and cutlery for the breakfast was also sub-par. There were a lot of dishwasher stains on the cutlery. My towel for showering also had a huge hole in, and was extremely dirty. The staff were not even apologetic about this.

Breakfast was absolutely great and the room comfortable & clean.

Opening hours for the bistro/bar/restaurant, they closed down at 9:00pm.

Like the restaurant, bar and the facility at the first floor.Nice breakfast and easy to park close to the hotel.

Quite old rooms, not with the standard to meet the price.Some of the personals were not service minded and almost arrogant.

I loved how there’s a bar and restaurant accompanied with mini games for people to play all in the same place, the aesthetic both in the room and downstairs are visually stunning

There’s not much I didn’t like to be honest, besides the view from the window looking outside (there’s not much you can do about that) it was overall pretty cool

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacey and comfortable. I like the ease of the walk-in shower. The few questions that I had were easily dealt with by the staff.

The lounge was closed. The cocktail bar could double as a lounge. But with limited openings hours.

Fabulous flexible service. I was late for the restaurant but the guys went out of their way to get me something to eat. I will recommend this hotel

Staff, location, cleaning

Facilities, room was cold but airconditioning and heating system didn’t work. There was no refrigerator in the room

Super hotel. Clean, quiet, beautiful surrounds and rooms. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice and lovely layout. Bar and seating area excellent. Just great.

Nothing, we were all impressed with everything.

Rooms are clean and comfortable but some are starting to look a little dated. The location and access to rail transport is excellent as is the large free car park.

There is no bar or restaurant open on Sundays. I found this a little unusual for a quality hotel.

The staff and the breakfast were good.

The constant bombarment of emails, sometimes 3 in one day. The strange fact the hotel advised that it was fully booked in September 2024 when we tried to book the same dates as we checked out in September 2023. Then, 3 months later rooms were available.

The breakfast was very good, plenty of choice on offer. The staff were always very welcoming and helpful. The dining room was always clean and it was very good to have the air conditioning on.

The outside area could do with some maintenance, weeds removed from between the path and the brick raised beds. And the rubber mats could do with replacing at the top of the outside steps as they are looking shabby and are becoming trip hazards. Also, the hotel information sheets should be updated. As the bar was closed at thirty and forty minutes earlier than advertised on the information sheet, 2230 and 2220. And one last item, the rooms other than the suites do not have coffee/tea making facilities with a kettle or a fridge. An ironing board with an iron would also be very useful. With these items in the rooms then I feel the hotel would be truly a four star hotel

The room was dated and the bathroom poor, breakfast was way too expensive for what was on offer.

Handy for the railway station.

Nearly everyone’s bill on checkout was wrong, with items like breakfast and drinks added that they didn’t have. The cleaning staff just pulled my quilt over my untidy bed without making it. My room smelled like someone had peed in it. No food or bar on a Sunday? It’s supposed to be a four star hotel ?Sadly I would not return to the hotel.

Did like the 'over the top' idea of the whole room. Luxury all over the room. Filled fridge, room service worked well.

Cleaning could be better, dust on door pole, toilet smelled badly.

The staff was very nice

The hotel was very dated, the room was very disappointing. The worst 4-star hotel room I’ve ever stayed at… Looked more like a 2-star hotel room.
