Days Inn by Wyndham Colorado Springs Airport

I liked the front desk staff they were very nice and professional and answered all questions I had with ease. The room was clean.

The light above the bathtub was a broken with exposed wires. Most of the plugs in the room did not work, nor did our TV. The parking lot situation is not the best, as there is only one way in and one way out of the hotel and it connects to the Super 8 directly behind the Days Inn building. They share the parking lot space and entrance/exit. The housekeeping staff are on my do not come back to that place list now because they came into my room WHILE I WAS SLEEPING and my boyfriend was smoking in the parking lot. They took our towels and our soap after 1 night in the room, and did NOT replace them. We did not ask for housekeeping because we were only staying 2 nights. I had to ask the front desk staff for more towels along with a do not disturb sign. I think it's very unprofessional and it made me feel so unsafe that we checked out immediately and left. It was one of my worst experiences in a hotel since I stopped working in them. I feel like I was being generous with my rating honestly, it should have been lower. The front desk staff is the only thing that saved the rating.

The room was clean and presentable. The bathroom was also clean and water was hot.

The tub wouldn't hold water so I couldn't take a bath. There were no hand towels, washcloths or a bathmat. The refrigerator also was barely working.

Both men at the front desk at check in and check out were very friendly, helpful and honest.Beds were comfortable and slept well. The room was clean. Perfect for a one night stay, as it was just a place for us to sleep while traveling.Oh and the AC worked. That it was close to where our family lived.

The place really felt kind of sketchy. They had a $100 refundable deposit. We were told that's because of the past customers causing damage to the rooms and anything in it, including damaging a new AC unit. The place gave us the impression that the owners don't take any pride in their hotel. The TV screen was mostly visible,. There were many large cracks across the screen with a green spot on the screen, no mini refrigerator or microwave in the room. The lamp shad was smashed in. I didn't like the fact the curtains didn't close for any darkness. One pillow had no pillow case on it and the fire detector was only wires.

The location is everything, it’s a good spot near the airport with a good view of the range.

The lies before grabbing the room, there is no working pool they need to stop advertising that. There also was no towels in the room and missing lampshades as well as broken grout in the bathroom. It’s in rough shape.
