Lovely bedroom great shower and very pleasant helpful staff.

The cooked breakfast was disappointing not up to the standard we are used to but the continental breakfast was great with lovely fresh fruit and lovely coffee. The comfortable chairs in the bar were passed their best but comfortable.

Gorgeous rooms friendly staff and great location for where we needed to be. Lovely continental breakfast with lots of lovely choices and nice fresh fruit.

The cooked breakfast wasn't as good as we have had in other hotels but it didn't matter as lots of choice on the continental breakfast.

The lady was extremely great. Chef was shutting down when we arrived and he turned the cooker etc back on for us. Great man.

The website carefully hid the fact that the price quoted was for room only!!It wasn't until I got the invoice later that it was made clear, room only. Very disappointed with that tactic.

Room, food, evening and breakfast was top class, staff helpful too. Great place to stay or just a have a great meal.

Lovely room, which just needs a bit of tlc to the skirting and walls. Staff were lovely, breakfast nice and a lovely location

Noise from car park

Friendly, welcoming, clean room, nice little touches. Rooms are lovely and quiet considering there is a bar area downstairs below.

The restaurant area wasn’t the cleanest, e.g. our son spilled pepper on and under one of the tables in the evening, which we did our best to clean up & notified the staff on duty - it was still there the next morning at breakfast. Also we waited more than half an hour in the empty restaurant for someone to come and take our order but nobody came so we went to eat dinner elsewhere (not that we particularly minded, we weren’t there for the food, it would’ve just been convenient and we’d heard good reviews about the food) the room was the main purpose of the visit and it was lovely.

Considering how costly it is to run a business these days it’s understandable that some areas look just slightly ‘tired’. The car park lights are on all night & very bright. Great for security but the blackout blinds on the room doors could be improved (just our personal preference to have a dark room for sleeping).

Very pleased with the room which was nice and clean and I was able to park my car outside our room. All the staff were very friendly and polite. Although it was only meant to be a continental breakfast there was a great selection including beans and sausage on toast.

There was nothing that I can complain about and it was value for money and close to my daughters home who we were visiting.

It could hold 18 people what we needed in the area

Room lacked a little attention to detail with cleaning, quite a few cobwebs and dust. Bed a little hard but that's down to personal taste. Not the fault of the venue, some noise from the room next door when we had not long gone to sleep

Room was comfortable and well furnished.The evening meal was good and staff were very helpful.

The breakfast was adequate but not great. The fruit was not very fresh and a poor selection.The shower door did not fit properly and paint was pealing on the ceiling with signs of mould on the tile grouting.

Comfortable bed, good sized room and bathroom

No direct lighting or mirror over wash basins so poor for shaving or applying make up. TV could not get channels 1 - 5. Pillows were too soft
