Convenient place to tour Lake Akan
It's proximity to Lake Akan and the availability of having a local guide to take us for a walking tour and explaining the attractions there. The short street also had a few interesting shops. We arrived early and had a very good lunch at a small ramen shop at the end of the street.
The bathtub to take a shower is not suitable for those who are seniors there are no handles to hold on to climb in and out. However, because it had a good onsen, we took our shower there instead.
It took quite a while before we received an answer about the walking tours as we wanted to be sure that the guides do speak English. (They do!)

Superb
Great onsen. Wonderful breakfast and dinner buffet. While staying in this hotel, we have free access to sister hotel that is located just beside. Wonderful onsen in the sister hotel.
Car park is 600m away. When we stayed, there was some insects - we were told it was common for this time of the year.
